DAD QUESTIONS SPECIAL NEEDS STATEMENT
Birmingham father Mike Reynolds is questioning how his autistic daughter's statement of special educational need was dramatically altered - after he'd agreed what it should contain with her school.
Mike reckons that the council's Special Educational Needs Assessment Service (SENAS) has shifted the goalposts to make it easier for youngsters like 14-year old Dorinder to be moved into mainstream education - fitting in with a pre-determined agenda to reduce the number of kids in special schools.

Residents in a Birmingham suburb are still waiting for sports facilities promised two and half years ago when local allotments were bulldozed to make way for a posh housing estate.
Campaigners fought a long and ultimately unsuccessful battle to preserve the Victoria Jubilee Allotments next to Handsworth Park, but were guaranteed football and cricket pitches to make up for their loss. So where are they?
