GRAFFITI - ART?

Over the past few weeks, The Stirrer has given coverage to Birmingham councillor Martin Mullaney’s efforts to give graffiti taggers a positive outlet for their artistic impulses by setting up classes at Moseley’s Epic Skate Park. But is all “street art” necessarily vandalism?

One of our regular contributors, Pete Millington, isn’t sure.

He’s been collecting examples of various unofficial postings on public spaces around the West Midlands, and some at least seem to improve their surroundings.
