Don't forget …The Stirrer's favourite athlete, Blind Dave Heeley, has a charity “do” on Saturday 10 March at Bescot stadium, starting at 7.30.

There's a comedian, an Elvis tribute, and Celtic rockers Quill, all compered by Paul Burrell of Capital Gold. Tickets are a tenner on the door, and proceeds go to helping Dave complete seven marathons in seven days on seven continents. More details from www.justgiving.com/777
