The new improved Midland Arts Centre re opens on May the first.

It has been gutted and redeveloped and promises a brand new place to go to see movies, dance, theatre and exhibitions.

Chief executive Dorothy Wilson says the new MAC has the ‘Wow’ factor. In place of that gloomy rundown place next to Cannon Hill Park, the new £15m development is full of light and air - plus it’s 40 percent larger..
