RON’S MOVIE TEASER

Brummie author and Stirrer regular Ron Dawson could soon have his hit novel The Last Viking turned into a major movie – local film producers Infinite Wisdom have optioned it, and we’ve got an exclusive preview of the “teaser” they’re using to raise the readies.

Ron says: “The characters are all mates I used to knock around with when I was a member of The Kingstanding Philanthropic and Philosophy gang (motto: You give, we take or else, and I couldn't care a toss sunshine).

"Anyway the yarn kicks off in the wonderful Bartons Arms in Aston and more dead than alive Perry Barr Crem, and then takes in a whole lot a Brum as the bad-lads duck and dive their way into and out-of trouble.

"It's gonna make a great film if they pull it off (that's my unbiased opinion anyway)".
