LITTLE BOOTS (Wolves Civic)

Electropop's great white hope comes to Wolves Civic on October 30th - with tickets on sale this morning at 9am for just a tenner.

Boots - aka Victoria Hesketh - is riding high at the moment after debut album Hands crashed the top ten album chart earlier this month. We particularly like her cover of the Sugababes "Overload"

It's been a strange trajectory for the 25-year old, whose music career began on ITV's Pop Idol talent show at the age of 16.

That was followed by a European tour with a on tour with a jazz trio, before she became lead singer of the dance-pop band Dead Disco.

Now Boots is enjoying a solo career - and attracting plenty of positive coverage.
